GET PAID WORK EXPERIENCE DURING YOUR STUDIES!

So… you’re currently studying at a university in South Wales and you’re battling between getting a part-time job to have a little extra money to fund yourself or heading out into the wilderness to find some relevant work experience or volunteering.

Well not to blow our own trumpet but with us, you don’t have to make that decision, that’s right, no working at a bar through the night serving drunk uni students. You can now register with us and gain useful work experience and get paid to do so! You will be working during your days off and during school hours allowing you to use your evenings to study and relax.

So how does this work? If you have recent experience of working with children for a minimum of 6 weeks (once a week for a period of 6 weeks is sufficient) this could be volunteering, mentoring, tutoring or anything similar, then you’re eligible for us to offer you work.

All you’ll need is a DBS, which can be arranged with your University and an EWC registration which we can help you with when you come in to meet us at our offices. These are both documents that you need to legally work and get paid for work in schools in Wales.

Once we have your professional and character references back, you’re ready to start working. All of our work is temporary therefore you are not contracted to a certain number of hours, you pick and choose when you can and can’t work. We understand that university workload can differ therefore some weeks you may not be free, that’s fine - we note it on the system and check in with you the week after.
