The next steps in your Teaching career…

Once you’re all set up and part of the agency, then comes the fun part!

You can start exploring what schools you like to work with, how to work as a Teacher, which subjects are your favourites and what age groups you prefer. You have nothing to worry about, when working with us we’re happy to help you every step of the way.

Here are a few tips of what you should prepare for when becoming Teacher and what those next steps are -

Be prepared -

Don’t walk into a school without having done and research or preparation. Try and get as much information as you can before you start your shift i.e what department do you need to go to? What time should you be there for? What should you be wearing?

You’re allowed to be fussy -

The benefit of supply work is that you are allowed to pick and chose what days to work, what schools you’d like to be placed at and how you want to manage your time - we can accommodate your schedule!

Things take time -

Always be patient when starting a new job, it could take some time to get used to a new environment or schedule. Try to enjoy what teaching has to offer and not worry about what the next step is constantly.
