Classroom Halloween Activities!

A LIST OF SCHOOL-FRIENDLY HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES!

We know how exciting it is for the children to dress up and enjoy all the Halloween activities - so we’ve come up with some school-friendly educational activities to do in the classroom this month!

Halloween Word Games

Create fun Halloween - inspired crossword puzzles and word searches, this benefits the children’s spelling and grammar skills.

Scary Stories!

Get the children to make up their own scary story.

Ghost and Pumpkin Bowling

Use empty plastic bottles to paint white and turn into ghosts, line them up as pins. Use an orange ball as a pumpkin and play bowls!

Witch-hat Ring Toss

Pick up some plastic cones to turn into witches hats, line them up and see if the kids can toss rings around them.

Wrap the Mummy Race

Bring the kids into pairs, and give them a roll of toilet paper. Tell players to wrap their pair in toilet paper and turn into a Mummy as fast as they can.

Design a Pumpkin

We know Pumpkin carving can get a bit messy, so instead print out an outline of a pumpkin and get the kids to design and colour their pumpkins.

Straw Skeletons

Cut up some white drinking straws for the kids to use as bones and tell them to create a skeleton doing a pose of their choice.
